"The Best of Colorado" Artists of Colorado

70 of Colorado's most talented artists were displayed during the heavily traveled months in conjunction with the grand opening of the Frederic C. Hamilton building. By highlighting these talented artists at DIA, we hoped to raise the awareness of more than 125,000 passengers per day that Colorado is a culturally vibrant state. As the City prepared for the international spotlight on the Denver Art Museum's new Building which opened October 7, 2006, DIA was pleased to bring an important exhibit to various locations throughout the airport.

These visual artists have been recognized for their contributions to the art community which enhances the quality of life making Colorado a great place to live and visit. Each of these artists submitted artwork created between 2003-2006.

Space: The DIA Art Program exhibition spaces are located on concourses A, B and C and in the Jeppesen Terminal

"The Best of Colorado" was located on all three concourses and in the main terminal.
